Dear All,
I hope you, your family, and your friends manage well through these extraordinary and challenging times.
As we deal with the Government’s stricter Covid 19 lockdown, we are mostly keeping company with ourselves and may have feelings of uncertainly about our future and worry about loved ones. However, in this long period of forced isolation, we have also been given a chance to learn a lot about ourselves in this time of adversity.
The lockdown reinforces the reflective qualities of the winter season. Use the time to rest, reflect, nourish, and explore the interior landscape of your inner being. Yoga and its sacred texts provide guidelines on how to care for and cultivate the well-being of our body, mind, and spirit, especially in times of hardship when stresses compromise our well being.
In honor of Guruji and Geetaji, may we all remain unwaveringly devotional to our study of yoga.
May the grace of their teachings continue to inspire our practice to embrace the unpredictable flow of life with inner balance and skillful action.
“Yoga allows you to find an inner peace that is not ruffled or riled by the endless stresses and struggles in life.”
I wish you all the very best this holiday season, and may your dreams, hopes, and intentions light the way to a brighter new year. May you all have clarity and inner strength to endure and overcome difficulties in your path, may you all cultivate contentment and gratitude for all things great and small, may your efforts be heartfelt, skillful, and in alignment with your aims; may your inner journey reveal beauty, love, truth, and wisdom, and deepen the connection with your spirit and purpose; may your practice yield balance, empowerment, and creativity.
Geeta reminds us, “It is your practice that brings the secrets to you. No teacher can give you the secrets.”
Peace and Love,
Delilah
